We also describe the measures we take to protect the security of the information we collect and how to contact us about our privacy practices.

By using the Platform, you accept this Privacy Policy and consent to our collection, use and sharing of the information as described herein.

When you register as a user of the Platform you are required to provide your full name, mobile phone number, email address, career status, skills and level of education. You have the option to upload a resume, and provide additional information such as your physical address, education and training, work history and income level. You may also create user account credentials, which we collect and maintain for your continued use of the Platform.

We enable you to contact us via our Platform, and we may provide links to contact us via email. You may contact us to ask questions, provide feedback, or to apply for a job. Please do not, however, submit any personal information or other information you consider to be confidential or sensitive. Information which you voluntarily elect to share in publicly visible areas of the site is considered to be public, even if it would otherwise be considered to be personally identifying or sensitive. As such, we don’t control divulging this, you do.

Information Collected Through Technology

We collect and maintain certain information using automated means, such as cookies, web beacons and similar technologies. A cookie is a text file websites send to a user’s computer or other internet-connected device to uniquely identify the device and browser or to store information or settings in a browser. A web beacon, also known as an internet tag or pixel tag, links web pages to web servers and their cookies and may be used to transmit information collected through cookies back to a web server. The information we collect in this manner relates to your use of the Platform and the randrr web pages you access; this includes your IP address, geographic insights, browser and device type, operating system, referring URLs, and dates and times of site visits.

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but browser settings can be changed to prevent these cookies from collecting information. Disabling cookies doesn’t necessarily disable the use of pixel tags, web beacons, or other technologies that collect information.

We respect Do Not Track (“DNT”) settings in browsers. If you are logged out of the Platform and have DNT enabled, we will not set cookies. By logging in to the Platform, you allow randrr to ignore your DNT setting, and you consent to our use of cookies and other automated means as described herein to provide you a personalized experience.

Some third-party services that we use, such as Google Analytics, may place their own cookies in your browser. Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of the Platform, to prepare reports on its activities, and share them with other Google services. Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. Similarly, other third-party services we utilize in providing the Platform may use cookies and web beacons to collect information when users click on a randrr sponsored job advertisement. The information collected by such third-party cookies or web beacons is essentially the same as the information we collect using cookies. Additionally, we enable cookie syncing and cookie matching with third parties, which allows us to match a Platform user with the same user of a different website. Cookie syncing enables randrr and the third parties to offer a user a more personalized Internet experience.

This Privacy Policy covers only randrr’s use of cookies, web beacons, and other similar technology, and not the use of such technology by third parties. Similarly, this Privacy Policy does not apply to third party websites accessed via hyperlinks within the Platform.

You may be able to opt out of other third-party advertiser and ad network placement of Cookies or targeted advertising by visiting the following links: Network Advertising Initiative, Digital Advertising Alliance; European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (for users in the EU); The Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada (for users in Canada); or by following opt-out instructions of the advertising networks, analytics providers and other advertising third parties directly. You will continue to receive generic ads by companies not listed with these opt-out tools.
